NL MUSIC REVIEW: Is “Nwa Baby” By Davido, A Dope Song Or Just An Over Hyped Song?
After experiencing the best hits of 2018 from the stable of DMW record label, we have quite a disappointing one from the ceo of DMW Davido.
This is even not up to the level of his recent release titled Dodo. In his latest single titled Nwa Baby.
The song might have been just an average song to every Nigerian both Davido and non Davido’s fans but the video potray quite a different meaning to everyone.
The video was shot by a contemporary video producer Meji Alabi while the full audio was produced by FreshVDM and co-produced by the producer of his recent hit ‘Assurance‘ which is Speroach.
The video gave a different meaning to Nigerians. Which is that you should support your partner even if she’s into an illegitimate mean of surviving.
According to the visual, the girl was an armed robber so instead of looking for a way to stop her from that way, he still happily spends the money she gets from it.
For a role model of many, an ambassador, and an advocate for peace and hard-work that he claims to be, I don’t think that such a message should come from such a personality.
We would love to see so much better encouraging messages from him not a message encouraging people to get into shady ways of making a living.
