Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun was discovered by Banky W in 2009 and signed a record deal with Banky W’s record label Empire Mates Entertainment (EME).

He rose to prominence in 2010 with the release of the song “Holla at Your Boy” from his debut studio album, Superstar (2011).

Tease Me, Bad Guys, Don’t Dull, Love My Baby, Pakurumo and Oluwa Lo Ni were also released as singles from the Superstar album.

All these beautiful track with wonderful lyrics were made under the EME record label.

Wizkid‘s self-titled second studio album, Ayo , was released in September 2014 and was preceded by six singles.

Jaiye Jaiye, On Top Your Matter, One Question, Joy, Bombay and Show You the Money.

STARYBOY DAYS

Wizkid decided to change tent in 2014 and left the once most popular record label in africa ‘EME to nothing and now just being refer to Wizkid Ex record label.

He created his own record label ‘Starboy‘ has never stop giving us the quality music as expected.

He drops his hits songs Ojuelegba that highlights his struggle in street and the remix features Drake & Skepta, he also drop Expensive Shit, Daddy Yo, Fake Love, Come Closer, Manya, Soco to mention but a few.
